Education & Participatory Programs for Young People
CAST is unique among professional summer theatres in that our Deckhand Program serves as a bridge between our educational programming and our professional company, immersing teens from the region in every aspect of our professional season.
Many young artists have gone on to join our professional company as their first paid job in the theatre industry.
Our education programs introduce young people from Clinton to the theatre arts as both practitioners and appreciative audiences. These programs instill the confidence in young people to develop their own unique voices and perspectives as they learn and define who they are in the world in order to become its next leaders and creators.
Teens who wish to perform in SpongeBob or Cinderella will be able to audition virtually this year, if they are unable to make the auditions in Clinton. Interested students should register below, and we will reach out with audition information.
